You may request information or copies of police reports through the Orono Police Department by calling, stopping in during regular business hours, or by mailing the request form (PDF) to the department.
Fees & Waiting Periods
Depending on the information requested, there may be a fee and up to a 10 day waiting period, although requests are generally able to be fulfilled sooner.
If charges are pending, you may be referred to the prosecuting attorney for a copy of the report. If a case is under active investigation, you may not have access to the entire report until it is resolved.
