Grants Are Available To Hennepin County Residents To Assist With The Cost of Sealing High Priority Wells No Longer In Use - Contact Information Listed Below

Do You Have Wells On Your Property?

Wells of yesterday used to be worry free....

Today before signing an agreement to sell or transfer real estate property, the seller must provide a well disclosure.  This is the process by which the seller of the property provides information to the buyer and the state about the location and status of all wells on the property.

This process is required by state law, a portion of the Ground Water Protection Act (Minnesota Statues, Section 103I.235)

Well disclosure certificates are available from the Minnesota Department of Health - required for all property transfers in Minnesota since November 1, 1990.

For any questions you may have regarding wells:  Testing your Well, Well Disclosures, Contamination, or any other questions, contact the Minnesota Department of Health listed below.
