 Property Tax Deferral Program

The Senior Citizen Property Tax Deferral Program allows people
65 years of age and older, whose incomes are $60,000 or less,
to defer a portion of their property tax on their home.  This is not a forgiveness program-it is a low interest loan from the state.  The deferred property taxes become due upon the sale or transfer of the property.
