Baker Park Reserve is 2,700 acres of diverse outdoor activities in natural surroundings.  You can enjoy a round of golf at Baker National Golf Course has an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole executive course and driving range.  Explore the 11,000 square-foot creative play area, picnic and swim, or bicycle on 6.2 miles of paved trails that wind through meadows and a "Big Woods" forest.  Visit for a day or stay overnight in a spacious campground.  In the winter, Baker Park Reserve becomes an outdoor enthusiast's frosty paradise with miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, a spacious hill and cozy chalet nearby.

Baker Park Reserve

This Reserve touches parts of Orono, Independence, Medina & Maple Plain. Located about 20 miles west of downtown Minneapolis on County Road 19.  From Highway 12, take County Road 29 north to County Road 19, and follow County Road 19 north to the main park entrance.  From Highway 55 turn south on County Road 19, and follow County Road 19 to the main entrance.

Baker National Golf Course

Located in Medina, take County Road 24 to County Road 201, turn north on County Road 201 and follow the golf course entrance.  Baker National Golf Course is operated by Three Rivers Park District.

Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement

Located in Maple Plain, approximately 20 miles west of downtown Minneapolis.  From Highway 55, take County Road 24 about eight miles; the Settlement entrance is on the left side of the road.  The Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement is operated by Three Rivers Park District.
