City Utility System

Orono maintains the City's utility infrastructure.  This includes: Water Treatment Plants, Water Mains, Water Towers, Water Pipes, Sanitary Sewers, Lift Stations & Stormwater Management.

Sanitary Sewer Waste Treatment is provided by the Metropolitan Council and these costs are included in the City's Sewer Bill.
